    Fluorescent Dye Infection
X-GalNAc is a chromogenic substrate for for N-acetyl-β-galactosidase, used to determine the presence or absence of a cloned DNA insert in bacteria growing on agar plates .
    X-GalNAc
  • HY-B0503

    Thiouracil

    NO Synthase Endocrinology Cancer
2-Thiouracil (Thiouracil) is an antithyroid compound. 2-Thiouracil can function as a highly specific melanoma seeker. 2-Thiouracil is a selective inhibitor of neuronal nitric oxide synthase (nNOS) with a Ki of 20 μM .
    2-Thiouracil
  • HY-N3354

    8-prenylgenistein

    Apoptosis Cancer
Lupiwighteone is an isoflavone present widely in wild-growing plants, with antioxidant, antimicrobial and anticancer effects. Lupiwighteone induces caspase-dependent and -independent apoptosis on human breast cancer cells via inhibiting PI3K/Akt/mTOR pathway .
    Lupiwighteone
  • HY-124814

    Bacterial Infection
C215 is a potent inhibitor of MmpL3. C215 is identified in HTS with glycerol independent activity against M. tuberculosis, limited non-specific toxicity against mammalian cells, an IC90 of 16 μM against M. tuberculosis, and efficacy against M. tuberculosis growing in macrophages .
    C215
  • HY-159107

    2-Mercaptonicotinoyl glycine

    Others Others
2-MNG (2-Mercaptonicotinoyl glycine) is an inhibitor for melanogenesis with an average IC50 of 49.5μM in normal human melanocytes. 2-MNG binds to melanin precursors, prevents the incorporation into growing melanin, and thereby inhibits the synthesis of eumelanin and pheomelanin. 2-MNG can be used in research about skin pigmentation .
    2-MNG
  • HY-139863

    Bacterial Infection
Antibacterial agent 62 is a novel redox cycling antituberculosis chemotype with potent bactericidal activity against growing and nutrient-starved phenotypically drug-resistant nongrowing bacteria.
    Antibacterial agent 62
  • HY-108569

    Antibiotic Bacterial PPAR Infection
nTZDpa is an antibiotic. nTZDpa is a PPARG partial agonist. nTZDpa has antibacterial activity. nTZDpa is effective against growing and persistent Staphylococcus aureus by lipid bilayer disruption .
    nTZDpa
  • HY-121158

    S-2846

    Others Others
Butamifos (S-2846) is an organophosphoramidate herbicide used to control annual weeds with low toxicity to mammals. Butamifos acts on the growing points of susceptible plants, causing severe radial enlargement of the affected tissues .
    Butamifos
  • HY-B0867

    Others Others
2,4-D Butyl ester is an organic phenoxy herbicide and used to control woody broad-leaf weeds. 2,4-D butyl ester produces its herbicidal effect by mimicking natural plant growth hormones causing plants to grow too rapidly to survive .
    2,4-D Butyl ester
  • HY-129300

    Others Others
Prosulfocarb is a herbicide with a rapidly growing use trend. Prosulfocarb is used in winter cereals to help address the problem of increasing biotic resistance of weeds to certain pesticides. Environmental and food effects of prosulfocarb have been observed, and its transfer pattern from target crops to non-target areas has been studied. The volatility effect of prosulfocarb is an important factor explaining the inefficiency of isolated area contamination and marginal protection against residue spread .
    Prosulfocarb

    5-Fluorouracil-6-carboxylic acid Mono(hydrate); 5-FOA; 5-fluoro OA

    Others Infection
5-Fluoroorotic acid (monohydrate) (5-Fluorouracil-6-carboxylic acid Mono(hydrate); 5-FOA) is used to detect URA3 gene expression in yeast molecular genetic constructs. Yeast with an active URA3 gene (which encodes orotidine-5'-monophosphate decarboxylase) convert 5-FOA to fluorodeoxyuridine, which is toxic to cells. Resistant yeast strains carrying mutations in the URA3 gene will grow in the presence of 5-FOA if uracil is added to the culture medium.

    Endogenous Metabolite Metabolic Disease
(S)-Malic acid (Standard) is the analytical standard of (S)-Malic acid. This product is intended for research and analytical applications. (S)-Malic acid ((S)-2-Hydroxysuccinic acid) is a dicarboxylic acid in naturally occurring form, contributes to the pleasantly sour taste of fruits and is used as a food additive. In Vitro: It is showed that ME is essential for (S)-2-Hydroxysuccinic acid (L-malic acid) utilization in L. casei. Furthermore, deletion of either the gene encoding the histidine kinase or the response regulator of the TC system resulted in the loss of the ability to grow on (S)-2-Hydroxysuccinic acid, thus indicating that the cognate TC system regulates and is essential for the expression of ME. Transcriptional analyses shows that expression of maeE is induced in the presence of (S)-2-Hydroxysuccinic acid and repressed by glucose, whereas TC system expression is induced by (S)-2-Hydroxysuccinic acid and is not repressed by glucose .
