Fc Receptor-like Proteins

Fc receptor-like (FCRL) molecules, members of the immunoglobulin superfamily (IgSF), are preferentially expressed by B-cells and some T-cell subsets including CD4+ T-cells, CD8+ T-cells, NK cells, and dysfunctional population of CD4+ regulatory T-cells (Tregs). FCRLs have variable number of extracellular immunoglobulin-like domains and cytoplasmic activating ITAMs and/or inhibitory ITIMs. FCRLs share homology with conventional FcRs for IgG and IgE isotypes and are well-conserved between humans and nonhuman primates. FCRL1-5 could regulate different features of B-cell evolution such as development, differentiation, activation, antibody secretion and isotype switching.

    Human E. coli
The FCRL6 protein acts as a receptor for MHC class II and interacts with HLA-DR when specific beta chains are associated. Although independent stimulation of FCRL6 does not promote cytokine production or cytotoxic activity, it exhibits tyrosine phosphorylation interactions with proteins such as PTPN11, PTPN6, INPP5D, INPPL1, and GRB2. FCRL6 Protein, Human (His) is the recombinant human-derived FCRL6 protein, expressed by E. coli , with N-His labeled tag.
