Description

Hentriacontane is a long-chain alkane. Hentriacontane exerts anti-inflammatory effects by inhibiting the NF-κB pathway. Hentriacontane has anti-inflammatory, antitumor and antibacterial activities[1].

In Vitro

Hentriacontane (1, 5, 10 μM, 1h) decreases TNF-a, IL-6 and IL-1b inflammatory parameters in RAW 264.7 cells[1].
