Description	GNAQ Antibody (YA2938) is a biotin-conjugated non-conjugated IgG antibody, targeting GNAQ, with a predicted molecular weight of 42 kDa (observed band size: 42 kDa). GNAQ Antibody (YA2938) can be used for WB experiment in mouse, rat background.
Background	The locus encodes a guanine nucleotide-binding protein. The encoded protein, an alpha subunit in the Gq class, couples a seven-transmembrane domain receptor to activation of phospolipase C-beta. Mutations at The locus have been associated with problems in platelet activation and aggregation. A related pseudorelated gene exists on chromosome 2.
