Definition:

Anti Tag Coimmunoprecipitation is an experimental method used when specific antibodies against the target protein are unavailable. The target protein is fused with a common tag (such as FLAG or GST), and its interaction with other molecules is studied by performing immunoprecipitation using an antibody or ligand specific to the tag. This technique is widely used to study protein interactions and complex formation.
