Definition:

c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK)/stress-activated protein kinase (SAPK), a major cellular stress response protein induced by oxidative stress, is a subfamily member of mitogen-activated protein kinase superfamily molecules. JNK/SAPK plays an important role in Alzheimer disease (AD).
