Definition:

Kinase homogeneous time-resolved fluorescence (HTRF) measures the quenching of non-radiative energy transfer between a long-lifetime lanthanide chelate and its receptor. It is used to study phosphorylation events and kinase-mediated signal transduction, playing an important role in the development of new drugs.
