Protein Phosphatase Assay

Definition:

Protein Phosphatase Assay is used to study the reaction catalyzed by phosphatases, which hydrolyze phosphoproteins: phosphoprotein + H₂O = protein + phosphate. This method is widely applied in the analysis of phosphatase activity in cell signaling pathways and in functional studies related to the cell cycle and metabolism.
