Pull-Down Assay

Definition:

Pull-Down Assay is a method that captures potential interacting proteins by incubating a target protein (bait protein) immobilized on a solid-phase carrier with a sample containing candidate molecules. This technique is primarily used to validate direct protein-protein interactions, screen for new binding partners, or determine the composition of complexes.
