Split Renilla Luciferase Complementation

Definition:

Split Renilla Luciferase Complementation is used to detect protein-protein interactions. The N-terminal and C-terminal of Renilla luciferase are fused to two target proteins. When these proteins interact, the luciferase activity is restored and emits a fluorescent signal, which is used for high-throughput screening and functional studies.
