Super-Resolution Microscopy is used to achieve imaging beyond the diffraction limit of resolution. The technique is divided into two types: "true" super-resolution technologies (capturing information included in evanescent waves) and "functional" super-resolution technologies (reconstructing super-resolution images using experimental techniques and known limitations).
