Trichinosis

Definition:

Trichinellosis or trichinosis is a foodborne disease caused by the parasitic nematode Trichinella and is widely distributed in the temperate, tropical, and arctic regions. Humans become infected after eating larvae present in raw or inadequately cooked meat.
