Viral Particle Co-Purification

Definition:

Viral Particle Co-Purification is used to capture interaction partners (prey) in viral-like particles (VLPs), combined with techniques such as mass spectrometry (MS) and Western blotting to identify multimeric complexes and binary interactions. This method captures the prey into VLPs by fusing it with viral proteins (e.g., HIV-1 GAG protein).
