X-ray powder diffraction (XRPD)

Definition:

X-ray powder diffraction (XRPD) is an analytical technique. XRPD can be used for phase identification of a crystalline material and can provide information on unit cell dimensions. XRPD is a gold standard for the determination of drug polymorphism.
