X-Ray Scattering

Definition:

X-Ray Scattering derives internal structural information of samples by measuring the scattering intensity distribution of monochromatic X-ray beams at low scattering angles. This technique is used for crystallographic analysis of proteins, DNA, and multi-phase materials, and for determining the particle size distribution of nanomaterials.
