SDS COA Handling Instructions Technical Support

Hydroxylapatite (Hydroxyapatite) (<50 nm) is a natural form of calcium phosphate and is the main mineral component of bones and teeth. Hydroxylapatite (<50 nm) can stimulate the expression and secretion of collagen in primary human dermal fibroblasts. Hydroxylapatite (<50 nm) has good biocompatibility, bioactivity, and bone conductivity, making it suitable for targeted drug or nucleic acid delivery. Hydroxylapatite (<50 nm) can be used in research on osteoarthritis, gout, and atherosclerosis.

Description

Hydroxylapatite (Hydroxyapatite) (<50 nm) is a natural form of calcium phosphate and is the main mineral component of bones and teeth. Hydroxylapatite (<50 nm) can stimulate the expression and secretion of collagen in primary human dermal fibroblasts. Hydroxylapatite (<50 nm) has good biocompatibility, bioactivity, and bone conductivity, making it suitable for targeted drug or nucleic acid delivery. Hydroxylapatite (<50 nm) can be used in research on osteoarthritis, gout, and atherosclerosis[1][2].

In Vitro

Hydroxylapatite is suspended in 0.2 μm filtered purified water, sonicated and vortexed for 5 min and collected by centrifugation at 16,000 g for 1 min. The procedure was repeated five times to wash the Hydroxylapatite particles and a 40 mg/mL stock suspension was prepared in 0.1 M NaCl before administering to cells[1].

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
