Description

Insulin β Chain Peptide (15-23) is one of the earliest antigenic epitopes to which CD8 T-cells respond[1][2][3].

In Vitro

CD8 T-cells purified from 5- to 8-week-old G9Cα−/−.NOD mice produces IFN-γ and TNF-α in response to Insulin β Chain Peptide (15-23) (1 μg/mL, 24 h)[3].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

In Vivo

Insulin β Chain Peptide (15-23) (50 μg, i.p.) together with CpG 1826 oligonucleotides promotes very rapid diabetes development in G9Cα−/−.NOD mice[3].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
