In Vitro

Retinol-Binding Protein 4 (RBP4) is a physiological carrier of retinol (vitamin A) in blood, delivering retinol from the liver to peripheral tissues.RBP4 ligand-1 has the ability to disrupt the RBP4–TTR protein–protein interaction (hRPB4–TTR). The RBP4–TTR FRET IC50 is 0.13±0.12 μM in FRET assay[1].
