AMHR2/MISRII Protein, Cynomolgus/Rhesus Macaque (HEK293, Fc)

Cat. No.: HY-P77560
Handling Instructions

AMHR2/MISRII Protein is expressed in a large number of female reproductive organs. AMHR2 Protein, upon ligand binding, assembles a receptor complex with two type II and two type I transmembrane serine/threonine kinases. Type II receptors initiate the signaling cascade by phosphorylating and activating type I receptors, which undergo autophosphorylation. Activated type I receptors then engage and activate SMAD transcriptional regulators, modulating downstream gene expression. Furthermore, AMHR2 serves as the receptor for anti-Muellerian hormone. AMHR2/MISRII Protein, Cynomolgus/Rhesus Macaque (HEK293, Fc) is the recombinant cynomolgus, Rhesus Macaque-derived AMHR2/MISRII protein, expressed by HEK293 , with C-hFc labeled tag. The total length of AMHR2/MISRII Protein, Cynomolgus/Rhesus Macaque (HEK293, Fc) is 127 a.a., with molecular weight of 55-60 kDa.

Background

Anti-Muellerian hormone type-2 receptor (AMHR2) is expressed in a large number of female reproductive organs. And its expression is mainly regulated by bone morphogenetic proteins, gonadotropins, and estrogens. AMHR2, upon ligand binding, assembles a receptor complex with two type II and two type I transmembrane serine/threonine kinases. The type II receptors initiate the signaling cascade by phosphorylating and activating the type I receptors, which, in turn, undergo autophosphorylation. Subsequently, these activated type I receptors engage with and activate SMAD transcriptional regulators, culminating in the modulation of downstream gene expression. Notably, AMHR2 serves as the receptor for anti-Muellerian hormone, playing a pivotal role in mediating the cellular responses triggered by this hormone. Mutations in AMHR2 gene are associated with persistent Mullerian duct syndrome type II[1].

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.

The dilution calculator equation

Concentration (start) × Volume (start) = Concentration (final) × Volume (final)

This equation is commonly abbreviated as: C1V1 = C2V2

Concentration (start) × Volume (start) = Concentration (final) × Volume (final)
× = ×

The specific activity calculator equation

Specific Activity (Unit/mg) = 106 ÷ Biological Activity (ED50)

Specific Activity (Unit/mg) = 106 ÷ Biological Activity (ED50)
