CD39 Protein, Cynomolgus/Rhesus Macaque (sf9, His)

Cat. No.: HY-P76801
Handling Instructions Technical Support

ENTPD1 is an integral membrane protein with an extracellular active site. ENTPD1 hydrolyzes the beta - and gamma phosphate residues of nucleotides, preferring ATP as the substrate. Through its hydrolysis of extracellular nucleotides, ENTPD1 plays a role in the regulation of purinergic signaling. CD39 Protein, Cynomolgus/Rhesus Macaque (sf9, His) is the recombinant Rhesus Macaque-derived CD39 protein, expressed by Sf9 insect cells , with C-His labeled tag.

Background

ENTPD1 could hydrolyze ATP and other nucleotides to regulate purinergic neurotransmission in the nervous system. ENTPD1 could also be implicated in the prevention of platelet aggregation by hydrolyzing platelet-activating ADP to AMP.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.

  • Specific Activity Calculator

The reconstitution calculator equation

Volume (to add to vial) = Mass (in vial) ÷ Desired Reconstitution Concentration

Volume (to add to vial) = Mass (in vial) ÷ Desired Reconstitution Concentration
= ÷

The dilution calculator equation

Concentration (start) × Volume (start) = Concentration (final) × Volume (final)

This equation is commonly abbreviated as: C1V1 = C2V2

Concentration (start) × Volume (start) = Concentration (final) × Volume (final)
× = ×
C1   V1   C2   V2

The specific activity calculator equation

Specific Activity (Unit/mg) = 106 ÷ Biological Activity (ED50)

Specific Activity (Unit/mg) = 106 ÷ Biological Activity (ED50)
Unit/mg = 106 ÷ ng/mL
