Background

CD7 Protein is a transmembrane protein of the immunoglobulin superfamily found in thymocytes and mature T cells. It plays an important role in T cell interactions and T cell/B cell interactions during early lymphocyte development. CD7 can activate PI3K signaling pathway and participate in the activation of T and NK cells. CD7 is widely distributed in tumors and is considered to be a key factor in the treatment of T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) and T-lymphoma[1][2][3].

Biological Activity

Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Rat CD7, at 0.5μg/mL (100μL/well) can bind Anti-CD7 antibody. The ED50 for this effect is 2.645μg /mL.

Reconstitution

Stored at -20°C for 2 years. After reconstitution, it is stable at 4°C for 1 week or -20°C for longer (with carrier protein). It is recommended to freeze aliquots at -20°C or -80°C for extended storage.
