Description

S0456 is a raw material that plays a crucial role in the construction of the folate receptor-targeted near-infrared dye OTL 38 (HY-139579). S0456 is connected to the modified folic acid to form OTL 38, endowing OTL 38 with good optical properties, high affinity, and specificity. S0456 can be used in the research of tumor optical imaging agents[1].

In Vitro

In the design of OTL38 (HY-139579), S0456 is linked to the modified folic acid. S0456 not only serves as part of the ligand that binds to the folate receptor but also increases the delocalized electron system of the near-infrared dye to enhance fluorescence. The introduction of a phenoxy group via a vinyl ether bridge to S0456 can further enhance the fluorescence intensity and cause a blue shift in the spectrum. Ultimately, this imparts OTL38 (HY-139579) with good optical properties and targeting specificity for tumor tissues[1].

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
