Thymosin β4 (Tβ4) is a 43 amino acid polypeptide that belongs to a large family of highly conserved, small biologically active molecules. Thymosin β4 (Tβ4) inhibits PDGF-BB-induced fibrogenesis, proliferation and migration of HSC by blocking Akt phosphorylation[1].
