NAD synthetase can be used for enzymatic assays to determine ATP, ammonia, urea, or creatinine, and is also suitable for enzymatic cycling methods. Additionally, NAD synthetase holds potential for research into metabolic diseases, cancer, aging, and neurodegenerative diseases .
