Description

T2384 is a peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor γ (PPARγ) ligand. T2384 also is an orally active antidiabetic agent. T2384 reduces the fasting plasma glucose levels and plasma insulin levels[1].

IC50 & Target[1]

PPARγ

In Vivo

T2384 (30, 100 mg/kg; diet for 4 days) improves plasma glucose and insulin levels in diabetes mode without causing weight gain and anemia[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Animal Model: 5-7 weeks, KKAy male mice (diabetes model)[1]
Dosage: 30, 100 mg/kg
Administration: Diet; 4 days
Result: Effectively reduced the fasting plasma glucose levels and plasma insulin levels, the food consumption was not significantly affected.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
