Description

Tetraglycine is a oligopeptide composed of four glycine monomers[1].

In Vivo

Tetraglycine and Triglycine (1.0 μmol glycine/g body wt (246.22 mg/kg), injected into a central vein) results in greater glycine concentration in the kidney than injection of either Glycine (HY-Y0966) or Diglycine[1].

Animal Model: Male Sprague-Dawley rats (270-300 g)[1]
Dosage: 1.0 μmol glycine/g body wt (246.22 mg/kg)
Administration: IV, injected over a period of 30 s
Result: Five minutes after the Tetraglycine injection, there were accumulations of diglvcine, triglvcine, and Tetraglycine in the kidney.
