Description

IL-13 Receptor alpha 1 Antibody (YA1624) is a biotin-conjugated non-conjugated IgG antibody, targeting IL-13 Receptor alpha 1, with a predicted molecular weight of 49 kDa (observed band size: 49 kDa). IL-13 Receptor alpha 1 Antibody (YA1624) can be used for WB experiment in human background.

Background

The protein encoded by The related gene is a subunit of the interleukin 13 receptor. The subunit forms a receptor complex with IL4 receptor alpha, a subunit shared by IL13 and IL4 receptors. The subunit serves as a primary IL13-binding subunit of the IL13 receptor, and may also be a component of IL4 receptors. The protein has been shown to bind tyrosine kinase TYK2, and thus may mediate the signaling processes that lead to the activation of JAK1, STAT3 and STAT6 induced by IL13 and IL4.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
