Description

AZ5385 is an EGFR-tyrosine kinase inhibitor. AZ5385 is a HRV-2 virus blocker, with EC50 of 0.35 µM. AZ5385 affects the late stage of viral life cycle[1].

In Vitro

AZ5385 (72 h) shows a CC50 of 9 µM for HeLa cells[1].
AZ5385 (3 h prior to the addition ofvirus, following incubation at 37°C for 72 h) also inhibits infection of HEp-2 cellscells by HRV-16, and RSV strain A2, with EC50s of 3.6 and 0.4 µM [1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
