Sandwich Immunoassay

Definition:

Sandwich Immunoassay uses an array of antibodies to capture the target protein and is identified through detecting antibodies. Detection antibodies can be directly labeled with detectable molecules (such as enzymes, fluorescent molecules, or isotopes), or labeled by biotinylation and binding to streptavidin, widely used for protein quantification, phosphorylation state detection, and biomarker analysis.
