Saturation Binding Assay

Definition:

Saturation Binding Assay measures specific binding between a ligand and its target at varying ligand concentrations, calculating receptor quantity and affinity. It is commonly used in drug development to analyze receptor-ligand binding characteristics and to calculate binding constants (Kd) and maximum binding capacity.
