Description

CPN-219, a next-generation hexapeptidic NMUR2 agonist, achieves a dose-dependent and selective activation of NMUR2 with an EC50 value of 2.2 nM[1].

In Vivo

CPN-219 (25-250 µg; intranasal administration) suppresses body weight gain of mice in a dose-dependent manner. In contrast, intraperitoneal injection (250 µg) is ineffective[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Animal Model: ddY mice[1].
Dosage: 250, 100, 25 µg/mouse.
Administration: Applied to the nasal cavity; at days 1 and 4
Result: Suppressed body weight gain of mice in a dose-dependent manner.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
