In Vitro

Guidelines (Following is our recommended protocol. This protocol only provides a guideline, and should be modified according to your specific needs). Labeling of Cells: 1. Culture HepG2 cells in DMEM/HIGH GLUCOSE medium (containing 10% FBS, 100 U/mL penicillin G and 100 μg/mL streptomycin sulfate) at 37oC in 5% CO2 atmosphere. 2. Add 1×106 HepG2 cells with logarithmic half-life in a confocal culture dish. Incubate cells at 37oC, 5% CO2, for 36 h. 3. Add 200 μL of 10 μg/mL Hoechst fluorescent dye 33342. Incubate cells at 37o, 5% CO2, for 20 minutes. 4. Changed the medium with 200 μL of Cy3.5-loaded FA-PEG-RH nanomicelles. 5. Take cell photos with a fluorescence microscope under 350 nm and 550 nm fluorescence excitation after 1h, 4 h, 8 h, and 16 h, respectively.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
