Description

Dinaline (GOE 1734; PD 104 208; NSC 328786) is a potent and orally activity anticancer agent. Dinaline shows cytotoxicity and antitumor activity. Dinaline has the potential for the research of colorectal cancer[1].

In Vitro

Dinaline (0.47-15 µg/mL; 48, 27 h) shows cytotoxicity for SW707, SW948 cells[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Cell Cytotoxicity Assay[1]

Cell Line: SW707, SW948 cells
Concentration: 0.47, 0.95, 1.9, 3.8, 7.5, 15 µg/mL
Incubation Time: 48, 72 h
Result: Inhibited cell growth with IC50s of 2.2, 1.0 µg/mL at 48 h and 1.2, 0.8 µg/mL at 72 h for SW707, SW948 cells, respectively.
In Vivo

Dinaline (5.9, 7.7, 10 mg/kg; p.o.; 5 days per week for 10 weeks) inhibits tumor growth in rats[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Animal Model: 140-160 g, male Sprague-Dawley rats[1]
Dosage: 5.9, 7.7, 10 mg/kg
Administration: P.o.; 5 days per week for 10 weeks
Result: Showed significant tumor growth inhibition in a dose-dependent manner with the ratio of median tumor volume of (T/C%) values of 0.4, 16 and 10.6 at 10, 7.7 and 5.9 mg/kg respectively.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
