Description

Fluplatin is a prodrug composed of cisplatin and fluvastatin. Fluplatin has antitumor activity[1].

In Vitro

The IC50 values of Fluplatin against H1975, A549 and A549/DDP cells were 2.24, 4.57 and 4.51 μM, respectively[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

In Vivo

Fluplatin (10.49 mg/kg, tail vein injection once every three days, a total of 5 times) shows better antitumor activity in H1975 cell subcutaneous tumor model[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Animal Model: H1975 tumor-bearing mouse model[1]
Dosage: 10.49 mg/kg
Administration: Tail vein injection, once every three days, a total of 5 times
Result: Upregulated the expression of cleaved caspase-3.
Reduced the cholesterol level in tumor tissue.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
