In Vitro

FPI-1523 inhibits K12 E. coli K12 and PBP2, with MIC and IC50 of 4 μg/mL and 0.4 μg/mL, respectively[1].
FPI-1523 inhibit E. coli BW25113 pGDP-2 transformants either with an empty vector or expressing different β-lactamases, with low MICs (1-2 μM)[1].

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
