Lipopolysaccharides, from Akkermansia muciniphila  (Synonyms: LPS, from Akkermansia muciniphila)

Cat. No.: HY-D1056I
Handling Instructions Technical Support

Lipopolysaccharides, from Akkermansia muciniphila (LPS, from Akkermansia muciniphila) is a kind of endotoxins derived from Akkermansia muciniphila. Lipopolysaccharides are lipopolysaccharide endotoxins and TLR-4 activators that activate pathogenicity-associated molecular patterns (PAMPs) of the immune system and induce cell secretion of migrasomes. Lipopolysaccharides can be extracted from the outer leaflet of the outer membrane of Gram-negative bacteria and are composed of an antigenic O-specific chain, a core oligosaccharide, and lipid A.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
