Abstract

2-(4-Methoxyphenoxy)-5-nitro-N-(4-sulfamoylphenyl)benzamide and close analogues inhibit glucose stimulated Insulin release through activation of Kir6.2/SUR1 K(ATP) channels of beta cells.
