Description

MO-I-1100 is an inhibitor of ASPH (Aspartyl-(Asparaginyl)-β-hydroxylase) enzymatic activity. MO-I-1100 suppresses HCC cell migration, invasion and anchorage independent growth. MO-I-1100 shows antitumor effects through inhibiting Notch signaling cascade in HCC[1].

In Vitro

MO-I-1100 has no effect on viability of NIH3T3 cells which lacked ASPH on the cell surface[1].
MO-I-1100 (1-10 μM) inhibits the viability of FOCUS cells, which have high level ASPH expression[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

In Vivo

MO-I-100 (50 mg/kg, ip, for 5 consecutive days per week for 2 weeks and then administered every other day) reduces tumor growth in an intrahepatic orthotopic xenograft model of HCC[1].
MO-I-1100 (50 mg/kg/day, ip, for 5 days) reduces the activated Notch 1 (cleaved fragment) as well as downstream HES1 and HEY1 gene expression[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Animal Model: Nude mice with established s.c. tumor xenografts of FOCUS cells[1]
Dosage: 50 mg/kg/day
Administration: Ip, for 5 days
Result: Reduced the activated Notch 1 (cleaved fragment) as well as downstream HES1 and HEY1 gene expression.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
