Plasmin can also act as a potent regulator of the immune process and can directly interact with various cell types, including monocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells[1][2].

In Vitro

Plasmin, Human plasma (20 μg/mL, 24 h) can activate PAR-1, strongly induce ERK phosphorylation, and degrade e-cadherin in mouse cortical tubular epithelial cell line (MCT)[1].

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
