Description

R-(–)-Flecainide is an orally active antiarrhythmic agent, which inhibits ventricular ectopic activity[1].

In Vivo

R-(–)-Flecainide inhibits chloroform-induced fibrillation (9-20 mg/kg, po, single dose) in mice model with an ED50 of 14.5 mg/kg, and inhibits ouabain induced arrhythmias (1-3 mg/kg, ) in mongrel dog model, without toxicity[1].
