Arylsulfatase A/ARSA Protein, Human (HEK293, His, solution)

Arylsulfatase A/ARSA Protein, Human (HEK293, His, solution), a recombinant human Arylsulfatase A produced in HEK293 cells, has a His tag. Arylsulfatase A is an important metabolic factor in pathophysiology of different diseases^[1].

Arylsulfatase A is an enzyme that breaks down sulfatides. Arylsulfatase A has been demonstrated in preparations of human leukocytes. The level of activity of arylsulfatase A is markedly decreased in the preparations from patients with metachromatic leukodystrophy^[1].

Measured by its ability to hydrolyze the substrate 4-Nitrocatechol Sulfate (PNCS) that incubate at 37℃ for 60min. The specific activity is 246.629 pmol/min/µg.
