LRRN3/NLRR-3 Protein, Human (sf9, His)

Cat. No.: HY-P77067
Handling Instructions

Neuronal leucine-rich repeat protein-3 (NLRR-3), also known as LRRN3, potentiates Ras-MAPK signaling by facilitating internalization of EGF in clathrin-coated vesicles. NLRR-3 also regulates cellular differentiation. LRRN3/NLRR-3 Protein, Human (sf9, His) is the recombinant human-derived LRRN3/NLRR-3 protein, expressed by Sf9 insect cells , with C-His labeled tag. The total length of LRRN3/NLRR-3 Protein, Human (sf9, His) is 628 a.a., with molecular weight of ~70 kDa.

Description

Neuronal leucine-rich repeat protein-3 (NLRR-3), also known as LRRN3, potentiates Ras-MAPK signaling by facilitating internalization of EGF in clathrin-coated vesicles. NLRR-3 also regulates cellular differentiation[1][2].

Background

Neuronal leucine-rich repeat protein-3 (NLRR-3), belongs to the LRR superfamily. NLRR-3 enhances phosphorylation of MAPK when COS-7 cells is transfected with NLRR-3. Mouse NLRR-3 also potentiates Ras-MAPK signaling by facilitating internalization of EGF in clathrin-coated vesicles[1]. NLRR-3 is associated with the regulation of cellular differentiation[1]. In addition, LRRN3 is a marker of naïve T.
Human NLRR-3 shares about 87% aa sequence identity with mouse and rat. Rat NLRR-3 shares about 95% aa sequence identity with mouse.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.

The reconstitution calculator equation

Volume (to add to vial) = Mass (in vial) ÷ Desired Reconstitution Concentration

Volume (to add to vial) = Mass (in vial) ÷ Desired Reconstitution Concentration
= ÷

The dilution calculator equation

Concentration (start) × Volume (start) = Concentration (final) × Volume (final)

This equation is commonly abbreviated as: C1V1 = C2V2

Concentration (start) × Volume (start) = Concentration (final) × Volume (final)
× = ×
C1   V1   C2   V2

The specific activity calculator equation

Specific Activity (Unit/mg) = 106 ÷ Biological Activity (ED50)

Specific Activity (Unit/mg) = 106 ÷ Biological Activity (ED50)
Unit/mg = 106 ÷ ng/mL
