Description

RS 30026 is a potent calcium channel agonist with a pEC50 value of 7.45[1].

In Vitro

RS 30026 (1-1000 nM) displays positive inotropism on guinea-pig papillary muscle and porcine coronary artery rings. RS 30026 (0.1-100 nM) causes vasoconstriction on guinea-pig papillary muscle and porcine coronary artery rings[1].
In single embryonic chick myocytes, RS 30026 (100 nM-500 nM) produces large increases in peak current amplitude and shifts the voltage for threshold and maximal currents to more negative values[1].

MedChemExpress (MCE) has not independently confirmed the accuracy of these methods. They are for reference only.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
