Despite stable diabetes (HbA1c >12%), Ilepatril significantly reduced albuminuria in a dose-dependent manner compared to placebo. This study highlights Ilepatril's efficacy in ameliorating nephropathy symptoms in diabetic rats, suggesting its potential as a therapeutic strategy independent of metabolic control for Type 2 diabetic nephropathy .
