    β-propiolactone; 2-Oxetanone; Betaprone

    SARS-CoV Infection
Propiolactone (β-propiolactone; 2-Oxetanone) is a viral chemical inactivator that causes the infectious inactivation of viruses. Propiolactone was co-incubated with SARS-CoV at a ratio of 1:1000 (v:v) and used as a bacteriostatic agent to formulate the BPL-inactivated influenza virus vaccine (Flu-BPL) .

    Enterovirus Infection
H1PVAT is a potent and selective inhibitor of poliovirus serotypes (PV-1, PV-2, PV-3), and inhibits early stage of the replication. H1PVAT interacts with viral capsid directly and protects PV against heat inactivation .

AEX Anion-exchange resin 1 is a strong anion exchange chromatography resin, based on monodisperse polystyrene/divinylbenzene (PS-DVB), with a particle size of 50 μm and an ionic ligand of –CH2N + (CH3)3. AEX Anion-exchange resin 1 can be used for the separation and purification of biological macromolecules such as proteins, antibodies, and viral vaccines.

    EGFR Cancer
CH401 peptide is a HER2-derived antigen peptide. After being bound to the artificial viral capsid by a self-assembled β-cyclic peptide, CH401 peptide is encapsulated in a lipid bilayer containing the lipid adjuvant α-GalCer, and can be studied as a self-adjuvant anti-breast cancer vaccine candidate .

    FOXP3 inhibitor P60

NF-κB Nuclear Factor of activated T Cells (NFAT) Infection Inflammation/Immunology Cancer
Peptide P60 is a FOXP3 inhibitor. Peptide P60 can enter cells, inhibit the nuclear translocation of FOXP3, and diminish its ability to suppress the transcription factors NF-κB and NFAT. Peptide P60 can inhibit the immunosuppressive activity of regulatory T cells (Treg) derived from mice and humans, and enhance the stimulation of effector T cells in vitro. Peptide P60 can induce a lymphoproliferative autoimmune syndrome with pathological manifestations resembling those reported in scurfy mice lacking functional Foxp3. Peptide P60 can enhance the immunogenicity of cancer and viral vaccines.

    Dengue Virus Infection
BP13944 is a potential small molecule inhibitor discovered by high-throughput screening. It can effectively inhibit the expression of dengue virus (DENV) replicons with an EC50 value of 1.03±0.09 μM. BP13944 can inhibit the replication or viral RNA synthesis of all four serotypes of DENV, but is ineffective against Japanese encephalitis virus. BP13944 may target the DENV NS3 protease, and the E66G amino acid substitution in the NS3 protease region will cause the virus to become resistant to BP13944. BP13944 has no obvious cytotoxicity. As there is currently no effective dengue vaccine and treatment, BP13944, as an effective small molecule inhibitor, may become a potential agent for the treatment of dengue in the future.
