Description

Product Information
This product is recombinantly expressed in E. coli, with a C-terminal His-tag, a molecular weight of 50 kDa, and a buffer component of 20 mM Tris-HCl, pH 8.0, and 10% glycerol. It is a key enzyme for the synthesis of sLex and Lex.

Instructions
1. Add substrate according to the reaction system, 5 mM MnCl2, and appropriate buffer salts such as Tris-HCl can be added to adjust the pH to 8.0, and add appropriate amount of α1,3/4-FucT (according to reaction requirements);
2. After mixing, incubate the sample at 37℃ for more than 2h or overnight.

Notes
When the system is scaled up, the incubation time or enzyme amount needs to be adjusted according to the actual situation, and can be mixed by low-speed shaking.

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

    Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
