Description	FUS Antibody (YA3197) is a rabbit-derived non-conjugated IgG antibody (Clone NO.: YA3197), targeting FUS, with a predicted molecular weight of 53 kDa (observed band size: 70 kDa). FUS Antibody (YA3197) can be used for WB, IHC-P, ICC/IF, FC experiment in human, mouse, rat background.
Background	The related gene encodes a multifunctional protein component of the heterorelated geneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein (hnRNP) complex. The hnRNP complex is involved in pre-mRNA splicing and the export of fully processed mRNA to the cytoplasm. The protein belongs to the FET family of RNA-binding proteins which have been implicated in cellular processes that include regulation of related gene expression, maintenance of genomic integrity and mRNA/microRNA processing. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Defects in The related gene result in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis type 6.
