Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a myeloid line stem cell precursors of the myeloid lineage (red blood cells, platelets, and white blood cells other than B and T cells). Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) leads to the rapid growth of abnormal cells that build up in the bone marrow and blood and interfere with normal blood cell production.
