Magnetic Stand 

The MCE Magnetic Stand combines a strong magnetic core to achieve fast and efficient separation. Featured with a unique sandwich groove design, MCE Magnetic Stand can hold up to 16 standard 1.5-2 mL EP tubes and facilitate user’s single-hand operation. The smart ergonomic design provides a good control and visibility of your sample. The top rack is easy to fasten and remove for experiments.

This product is suitable for antibody purification, immunoprecipitation, co-immunoprecipitation, cell sorting and nucleic acid separation.

1.    Place tubes containing the magnetic beads suspension in the sample hole. The beads will be absorbed on the wall of tubes after standing for several minutes, then the suspension will be clear.

2.    Gently remove the supernatant with a pipette or pour the liquid out slowly and carefully.

3.    Remove the magnetic bar, then add the resuspension solution, well-mixed with gently shaken for next operation.

NOTE: Time of magnetic separation is corresponded to the magnetic beads’ size. The Smaller the magnetic beads’ diameter is, the longer the magnetic separation time takes. The viscosity and the composition of the supernatant affect the magnetic separation as well.
