Description

Phosal 50 PG is a cosolvent (standardised phosphatidylcholine concentrate). Phosal 50 PG as a carrier for lipophilic compounds, can improve the absorption, efficacy and therapeutic index of the active ingredient[1].

In Vivo

Phosal 50 PG is usually used as a cosolvent.
Navitoclax (HY-10087) (100 mg/kg, once a day for 21 days) is formulated in 10% ethanol, 30% polyethylene glycol 400, and 60% Phosal 50 PG and administered p.o. to mice[2].
A-1331852 (HY-19741) (25 mg/kg, daily for 10 days) is formulated in 2.5% DMSO, 10% ethanol, 27.5% PEG 300, and 60% Phosal 50 PG and administered p.o. to mice[3].
Venetoclax (HY-15531) (100 mg/kg, daily for 10 days) is formulated in 10% ethanol, 30% PEG 400, 60% Phosal 50 PG and administered p.o. to mice[4].

Help & FAQs
  • Do most proteins show cross-species activity?

Species cross-reactivity must be investigated individually for each product. Many human cytokines will produce a nice response in mouse cell lines, and many mouse proteins will show activity on human cells. Other proteins may have a lower specific activity when used in the opposite species.
